Dream Packing

 

After 10 months of stay-at-home orders and self-imposed pandemic precautions a trip (alone) to Ikea has come to feel like a road trip – the closest location is about 20 miles away. After this long, even a homebody starts to fantasize about a weekend away. A dandy like myself starts to fantasize about what to pack for a weekend away.

Over the last two months, I have started collecting classic weekenders and totes from WANT Les Essential. The luxurious minimalism of the Peart brothers’ designs is a perfect match for my aesthetic and buying them second-hand or from the company’s sale section brings them within my budget. 

Now that I have my beautiful bags, I am dreaming of what to pack in them.

With no idea of which season we will be in when I can grab my passport and make these fantasies a reality, I have put together a plan for each.
